If you don't have Adult ADD, you probably aren't very fun.

If you could see me try to sit down and write a blog post, you'd understand my lack of consistency. I self-diagnosed myself with Adult ADD tonight, and chances are, you probably have it too.

I mean, PEOPLE. Read that list. I think we've all got Adult ADD, and if you don't then you probably aren't very fun. Eating, drinking, and shopping in excess??? Is there even any other way to do these things? I'm confused. Anyways, now, as always, here come today's thoughts and happenings in no particular order! Thanks AADD for being so gosh darn inspiring.

Recent social media pet peeve:
PEOPLE WHO LIKE THEIR OWN STATUSES AND/OR PICTURES. Why? Just, why??

Positively unnecessary.

And, effective immediately: I’m going to start unfollowing people on Instagram that make me hate myself. Some people may find pictures of flat stomachs and muscles inspiring. I, do not. So if you notice I’ve unfollowed you in the next few days, it’s because you are either too in shape, too pretty, or too rich to be in my news feed. Take it as a compliment. And if you are on any kind of tropical/relaxing vacation, this applies to you as well. Once you return to your boring life back in your cell cubicle, we can be friends again.

This bitch knocked out ALL FOUR THINGS in one picture. Bye bye Gisele.
Oh I almost forgot to tell you! I found this at Target today and so much excitement bubbled up within me I felt like I was going to explode all over the aisle like a giant zit of happiness. That's gross. But true.
I think I know what Taylor's wedding present will be!
Friday night a bunch of my favorite people got together for an epic girl's night on the town. D-town, that is. We hit up reunion tower for fancy drinks, had some amazing Mexican food at our favorite place in the world, and danced the night away. It's what we do.

Fancy dress, heels, hair not in a ponytail? Take a good hard look, because I may not even look this fancy on my wedding day. Which in case you've forgotten is just 45 days away!

And in case you've forgotten how cute this guy is, here is your reminder.

In other news, I'm mysteriously absent over this weekend it's because I'm moving! I can't even express to you the chaos that is my room right now. Well actually, yes I can. In photographic form.

I know you didn't really care. But I wanted to show you anyways. BOXES EVERYWHERE. And poor Sydney's living room has been taken over by bridal shower number one. (Yes, that's right, I said one. As in, there is another.)

SPOILED ROTTEN! :) That's all I've got to say about that.
The shower was thrown this past weekend by some of my awesome bridesmaids and hosted by a good friend of my mom.
Treats EVERYWHERE! Those chocolate covered strawberries alone are worth getting married for :)

Sweet sweet friends! They've my fave.

Too much cuteness!

Mom and future MIL!

And shout out to this beautiful friend of mine for coordinating all the RSVPs and making everything so adorable! You are my fave. And also, gimme your hair.

Tonight, run coach Karen (that's how I'm going to refer to her from now on) and I got a very hot (and let's be honest, pretty miserable) 4 mile run in. It wasn't necessarily my fave because it reminded me that this will pretty much be my life for the next, ohhh, SEVEN MONTHS or so.

But you can't beat a run with good conversation. And boy, I sure do love Daylight Savings.

And then, PIZZA. And wine, because I believe firmly that pizza should never be enjoyed without wine.

BBQ chicken+onions+tomatoes+cilantro+extracheese+pineapple= tropical vacation, in my mouth.

And PS if you haven't gotten your Pie Five BOGO free pizza yet you are a crazy person. Pie Five is the bomb. It's like subway for pizza and who doesn't love that thought? And two nights worth of {giant} dinners for $7? Yes please.

Ten Photo Tuesday

I'm still completely obsessed with this cup.

You run a marathon and your friends give you presents. Thanks Em!

Found on Pinterest this morning:

I don't have a puppy, or a baby, but I do have a soul, so that made me giggle. Who doesn't love baby humor?

Chick-fil-a was calling my name at lunch today.

I really wish I could say that chicken sandwiches sitting under a heat lamp and served on a plastic tray didn't appeal to me, but it's just not true. I could've gone back for a second one. And yeah, I use ALL of those packets of honey roasted barbecue. Every last drop of it. That stuff is the bomb.

I wore my really tight red pants to work today, so all day long my legs felt like sausage rolls.
Not good.

I wish they would stop bringing fun sized Snickers to work.

They are TOO fun.

After work I went to get my nails done. Which means wine. Free wine.

It's Tuesday. Which means it did not last long. Hopefully my polish will last longer.

And zucchini pizza for dinner.

And then I whipped these together.

Sally's Baking Addiction Inside Out Chocolate Chip Cookies
The dough is currently chilling in my fridge waiting to be baked tomorrow. I don't know how, but I summoned the self control to not devour the entire bowl before baking them.

And because I've been really in to cookies lately, I'm going to have to start doing this.

Too awesome.

I just spent two hours packing and cleaning, so I'm pretty tired.
I hope to be more interesting tomorrow. Cross your fingers.

Monday Runday: Zombies on the Treadmill

Wanna know what motivates me to run? ZOMBIES.

Also, zombie herds. AKA lots of zombies. If you are looking to make serious improvements in your pace just flip on an episode of The Walking Dead and your run will fly by. Never mind the fact that you will also get strange/horrified stares from the lady on the treadmill next to you wondering why in God's name you are watching Daryl dig through Zombie guts looking for Sophia. She obviously doesn't get it.

End result, 5 miles at an easy 9:10 pace.

It's been a while since you've seen a gym selfie. I thought you'd appreciate this.
I didn't watch the Oscars because we don't have TV, but I did browse the interwebs today to catch up on the red carpet fashion and to recap on the winners.

A few things:

Ellen can do no wrong.

I, like everyone else on planet earth, LOVE Jared Leto.

Lupita's acceptance speech made me cry. Also, SIDE NOTE - I try not to be superficial (well I don't really try that hard) but her ARMS! Holy hell I CAN'T STOP STARING. I need to be put on her fitness regime ASAP.

And lastly, I wonder if Olivie Wilde and Jason Sudekis will adopt me because they are perhaps my favorite celeb couple and this only fuels my fire. Post-Oscar's pit stop at In-N-Out? My kinda couple.

Yesterday morning came early.

And COLD.

But Bootcamp waits for no man and in case y'all have forgotten, I'm getting married in 53 days. YIKES.

My very warm and valentine colored 5am outfit of choice. I really am a stunner.

So all this icy nonsense has left my car embarrassingly dirty.

My windshield is a whole new level of nasty but because it never got above freezing today I couldn't even spray the wiper fluid to clear that SOB off. ANNOYING

On my daily Target run (I wish I was exaggerating...) I saw THESE.

I'm impressed and grossed out all at the same freaking time. I hate Jelly Beans. But I love brightly colored packaging. Oh how I am torn.

And this is my new favorite snack.

It's a weird and delightful combination of toasty sesame seeds and sweet honey almond butter. I honestly eat EVERYTHING.

Things I would like you all to volunteer for. Pick one, any one.

Washing my car (see above)
Packing up my room (because I move in TWELVE/ELEVEN days!)
Reminding me to get some green in my meals.

My plate looks like all the colors of a sunset.

Ice/RoadRage/Cookies

I started writing with the intention of doing a weekend recap whilst also highlighting my annoyance at people who have road rage while driving on icy roads. Then I googled "road rage meme" and got lost in the hilariousness.

Sometimes when I think about the fact that I can't sit at home drinking wine all day and pinteresting hilarious internet memes it makes me sad. SO sad. One day, y'all, one day.

OK, so Friday. The day is really a blur but I do know that it consisted of me FINALLY fulfilling my steak craving by making a trip to Outback with Taylor, Jordan, and Morgan. And when you go to Outback it's actually a rule that you have to order a Bloomin' Onion.

Honestly, read the fine print. It's there.

Saturday I woke up early and headed out to Emily's house because we designated the day to wedding crafting. AKA she makes everything cute and perfect and I sit around watching and bake her cookies in return.

See? Really I'm just sippin on my drank, and posing for pictures. It's what I do.

ALSO she gave me WEDDING PRESENTS!

Do you see why I am friends with her? She really is the greatest.

In case you are not in Texas, this is really truly how this weekend was.
85 degrees Saturday, 20 degrees on Sunday. NO exaggerations.

But then this afternoon after braving the icy roads, I came home to Sydney and a warm toasty fire and I've almost changed my mind about  marrying Taylor. She just takes such good care of me.

To cope with the cold, I made these cookies again because I still have all the ingredients and I lack self control.

BUT I shared them! Along with pizza, wine, and chick flicks.

Since I just admitted to consuming a shit-ton of pizza, wine, and cookies (really, I lost count) I also need to update you on running news.

I made a mini-goal this weekend that I think my new running goal will be to beat my current 5k PR. The last 5k I did I didn't really "train" for, but I'd just come off of Half marathon training and running a LOT. So, I think I'm going to work on a 5k PR training plan this week, and see what I come up with! #excitement #thisisgoingtohurt

And just a reminder. 55 days until I'm Mrs. This Guy:
